The SLR-1 solar red dot utilizes both solar energy and highly efficient battery powered LED technology allowing run times in excess of a 100,000 hours. The SLR-1 solar red dot uses solar energy from bright outdoor light conditions to illuminate the dot and has a battery fail safe for indoor and low light conditions. When in solar mode, the red dot will automatically adjust the dot brightness based on the ambient light, eliminating the need to manually adjust dot brightness. However, dot brightness can be manually adjusted in manual mode. The SLR-1 red dot also features a Multiple Dot System (MDS) allowing both a 2 MOA dot and 35 MOA circle dot.
