Is the front lens of our red dot tilted? Don't worry it's suppose to be that way.

Almost all red dots on the market today will have a tilted front (objective) lens. Don't worry it's suppose to be that way. Red dots use a light emitting diode (LED) that projects a red dot on the inside of the objective lens. In order for the red dot to achieve optimal performance, the objective lens will be slightly tilted inwards in relation to the illuminated dot. The tilted lens also allows the red dot to be parallax free. Again, if the objective lens on your red dot sight is tilted, rest assured that this is due to design and not defect.
